Divyesh Dagli named Head of Central BI, Data & Analytics at Mahindra Finance

Divyesh Dagli, Head of Central BI, Data & Analytics, Mahindra Finance

From fixed income operations to centralizing data silos at YES BANK to leading the BI ecosystem at Mahindra Finance. This is twenty-one years turning banking data complexity into revenue-driving intelligence.

Divyesh Dagli has been appointed Head of Central BI, Data & Analytics at Mahindra Finance. His journey shows that business intelligence in NBFCs goes beyond dashboards. It requires unified data architecture, early warning systems, and analytics that directly protect and grow revenue.

He began at Bank of America and Deutsche Bank, building strong foundations in fixed income operations and data processes. At IndusInd Bank, he spent six years as SVP in Wholesale Banking Strategy, where analytics intersected with credit decisions, risk management, and portfolio performance.

At YES BANK, as Group Executive Vice President leading the Business Intelligence Unit for Retail Assets, he centralized fragmented data silos into a unified warehouse. He also built early warning signal frameworks that recovered significant revenue. This was enterprise BI at scale, integrating legacy systems, aligning governance standards, and delivering measurable ROI through proactive risk detection.

Now at Mahindra Finance, effective February 2026, he leads the centralized BI and data ecosystem, leveraging advanced analytics and data science to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across one of India’s leading NBFCs.

This is not just BI leadership. It is building platforms where loan origination, collections, risk, and operations teams access consistent, governed data. It is designing early warning systems that safeguard asset quality. It is managing digital transformation in regulated financial environments where data accuracy drives survival.

With twenty-one years across Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, IndusInd Bank, and YES BANK, Divyesh combines banking operations depth with strategic analytics execution. His expertise spans data modeling, Six Sigma, eCommerce analytics, AI-driven data preparation, and revenue-focused BI systems.

At Boardroom CXO, we see NBFCs and financial institutions prioritizing BI leaders who understand both banking operations and enterprise data centralization. Sustainable growth in financial services depends on unified data platforms, predictive analytics, and governance-driven digital transformation.

For BI and analytics leaders in financial services: what is harder, centralizing fragmented data architectures across legacy systems or building early warning frameworks accurate enough to prevent asset deterioration?
