This policy explains how Boardroom CXO collects, uses, stores and protects information from clients, candidates, leaders featured in Boardroom Moves and visitors to boardroomcxo.com.

By using this website, sending us an enquiry, replying to our messages on LinkedIn or WhatsApp, or taking part in Boardroom Moves, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Who we are

Boardroom CXO is an executive search firm for retail, jewellery and D2C brands in India and the UAE. It is operated by:

3. Information we collect

• Enquiries: name, company, email, phone and the details of the role, when you contact us or book a call.
• Candidates: CV, LinkedIn profile, current and expected pay, and interview feedback, when you are considered for a search.
• Boardroom Moves: your name, new role, company, previous roles and LinkedIn profile, taken from your public LinkedIn profile and posts; your photo; your reply to our questions; and your email or WhatsApp number if you share them.
• Billing: billing name, GSTIN if you give one, the amount paid, the date and the payment reference. We never take card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking passwords.
• Messages: the content of conversations on LinkedIn, WhatsApp and email.
• Usage data: standard browser and device data from Google Analytics (pages viewed, where visits come from, time on site).

4. How we use it

• To answer enquiries and run executive searches for our clients.
• To consider candidates for roles, and to tell them about roles that fit.
• To write, show you and publish Boardroom Moves features on LinkedIn, Instagram and boardroomcxo.com.
• To send payment links, record payments and issue GST invoices.
• To improve our website.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising or for anything unrelated to our services.

5. Boardroom Moves

• We share a draft before a paid feature is published. If you do not reply within 48 hours, we publish it as drafted.
• The free weekly Brief is written from public LinkedIn information and names you in a short roundup.
• A published feature is public on LinkedIn, Instagram and, for Plus and Bundle features, on boardroomcxo.com. Ask us and we remove it from our website and our pages. We cannot remove copies other people have shared.
• Plus members are invited to the Boardroom CXO Connect WhatsApp group, where other members can see your name and number. You can leave at any time.
• Reply "no" to any message and we stop contacting you about Boardroom Moves.

6. How we share it

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Clients: a candidate's profile is shared with a hiring client only with the candidate's agreement.
• Payment provider: payment links are handled by our payment provider, which processes card and bank data under its own privacy policy.
• Service tools: we use Zoho, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp to run our work. They process data on our behalf under their own policies.
• Legal requirements: if the law, a court or a government authority requires it.

7. How long we keep it

• Enquiries and Boardroom Moves outreach: up to 2 years from the last contact.
• Candidate records: up to 2 years after the search or the last contact, whichever is later.
• Payment and invoice records: 7 years, as Indian accounting and tax law requires.

You can ask us to delete anything we are not required by law to keep.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count page views and traffic sources. You can turn off cookies in your browser and still use the site.

9. Your rights

• See the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep.
• Ask us to remove a Boardroom Moves feature from our website and pages.
• Stop messages from us at any time.

10. Security

The site runs on Cloudflare with HTTPS on every page, and only our team can see the records. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you promptly.
