Arshad Mumtaz, Executive Vice President & Chief Business Officer for DCX, Movate

From a five-member startup team in Kolkata to leading a $200M global CX business and now becoming Executive Vice President & Chief Business Officer for DCX at Movate. That's 28 years of building customer experience, operations, and business leadership at scale.

Arshad Mumtaz has been appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Business Officer for DCX at Movate.

His career spans sales, operations, outsourcing, customer experience, and large-scale P&L leadership across some of the industry's most recognized organizations.

He started at 21 CENTURY SOLUTIONS, where he was part of a five-member team and won Salesperson of the Year three consecutive times. Early roles at GE Capital and Hughes strengthened his expertise in Six Sigma, process excellence, and customer experience transformation.

At TTEC, he took on P&L responsibility for a 700-seat operation serving global clients including JP Morgan Chase, IBM, and Target Visa.

His leadership journey accelerated at airtel, where he became one of the youngest Vice Presidents, leading outsourcing and contact center operations across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. He managed 25,000+ FTEs across 33 contact centers, improved partner satisfaction, reduced operating costs, and delivered significant business savings.

Over nearly 12 years at IGT Solutions as EVP & Global Business Leader, he helped scale revenue from $20 million to over $200 million across 20 locations and 18,000 employees while consistently delivering 25%+ EBITDA. He also led the adoption of AI, analytics, automation, and robotics to drive measurable business outcomes.

More recently, as COO at CogentHubCX.AI, he secured the company's first $1 million customer within 45 days and helped accelerate growth.

Now at Movate, he will lead global sales, operations, and growth for the DCX business, helping drive the next phase of customer experience transformation.

What stands out is the scale of execution: managing 35,000+ FTEs, transitioning 500+ businesses, scaling global operations, and consistently delivering growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

At Boardroom CXO, we're seeing organizations increasingly prioritize leaders who combine commercial acumen, operational depth, AI-led transformation, and proven P&L ownership. As customer experience becomes a strategic growth lever, execution at scale remains a critical differentiator.

For CX leaders: What's harder today: scaling global operations while maintaining service quality, or driving AI-led transformation while protecting customer experience outcomes?
